JMU Oversees Redesign of Commonwealth of Knowledge Website:

Redesign Survey Available August 1, 2002

The James Madison University (JMU) College of Education, in conjunction with the Virginia Board of Education, the Virginia Department of Education, its committee of Virginia Teachers of the Year, and the Virginia Information Providers Network (VIPNet) will conduct an online survey from the period of August 1 to September 15, 2002. The purpose of the survey is to seek information from Virginia PreK-12 educators regarding how the existing Commonwealth of Knowledge website can be redesigned to best meet their needs relative to teaching SOLs. All Virginia educators are encouraged to complete the survey and may win prizes for their participation. Details on the survey and prizes will be posted on August 1, 2002, at this website.

For more information on the redesign effort, see the open letter to attendees of the recent JMU 2002 SOL Content Academy. Click here to see a list of the members of the Web Redesign Committee.
